Implementing the Energy Savings Opportunity Scheme - ESOS

Further to our last ESOS webinar that introduced the final DECC guidance for ESOS, this webinar included presentations from practitioners who are currently active in preparing organisations for ESOS implementation.
The session included presentations from
1. Scott Borders AIEMA, AMIChemE, MEI. A Chartered Energy Manager Scott is Company Energy Engineer at British Gypsum and is the lead energy assessor for Saint-Gobain
2. Colin Braidwood MBA, CEnv, MIEMA, MIET, FRSA. Colin is a specialist carbon and energy professional with nearly 2 decades of Corporate Experience (in house and consultancy).
3. Webinar host - Nick Blyth, IEMA Policy & Engagement Lead, Climate Change and Energy
ESOS is a new regulation effecting large organisations with more than 250 employees (or a turnover of £39m+ and a balance sheet of £33m+) to measure and audit their total energy consumption. The final report needs to be signed off by an Approved Lead Assessor.
An update will also be provided on IEMA's newly established ESOS register for Lead Energy Assessors
