Roles at IEMA range from operational support roles to positions in policy working to influence government and other key stakeholders on national policies; marketing positions to help develop campaigns, corporate partnerships and thought leadership material; membership roles to help support our members in professional standards and training and positions of working with the media through our press and PR team.

We are committed to developing the skills of all our employees and we offer high quality training and formal qualifications together with internal development opportunities to help develop and grow your skills and knowledge. Everyone that joins IEMA is supported through our foundation certificate in Environmental Management. This course will give you a foundation of environmental and sustainability knowledge to build on to give you the best start in your career with us.

Wellbeing

IEMA has a robust Wellbeing Strategy that encompasses several initiatives that form the framework in which we can all be our healthiest, happiest and most productive selves.

We are completely invested in and committed to the success of our wellbeing programme which promises an end-to-end, holistic approach. Each element of the strategy is complemented by a programme of investment in personal and professional development, mental health and mindfulness and it is our sincere hope that all colleagues will feel valued and have everything they need to thrive.

We have six qualified Mental Health First Aiders available to support out team and we also regularly share tips and links to aid wellbeing within our wellbeing communications.
