Our 101 introductory webinar featured experts on environmental auditing, providing an understanding of what represents a good audit, the key planning stages in conducting an audit, practical insight on how to maximise value from audits and the importance of registered auditors and certification bodies.

Regular environmental audits are an important part of an Environmental Management System and help to keep an organisation on track in managing its impacts and risks. Good environmental auditing is based on effective planning, with realistic audit objectives and scopes that address key areas of risk.

Attendees were able to understand:

• What represents a good audit;

• The key planning stages in conducting an audit;

• Practical insight on how to maximise value from audits;

• The importance of registered auditors and certification bodies.
