The Town and Country Planning (Development Management Procedure and Section 62A Applications) (England) (Amendment) Order 2014
1 October 2014
Planning
Amendments to the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 by the Growth and Infrastructure Act 2013 allow applicants for “major” developments to submit planning applications to the Planning Inspectorate instead of the local planning authority.
The Town and Country Planning (Development Management Procedure and Section 62A Applications) (England) (Amendment) Order 2014 supports these changes, by providing procedures to handle listed building consent applications connected to planning applications for major development submitted directly to the Planning Inspectorate.
