The Renewables Obligation (Amendment) Order (Northern Ireland) 2014 revises the renewables obligation scheme. Sustainability criteria are tightened for biomass feedstock to be used in electricity generation.
Renewables obligation certificate (ROC) levels for ground-mounted solar photovoltaic generation with an installed capacity over 250kW are increased to provide further support to the sector.
