Scotland - environment protection

The Environmental Protection Act 1990 (Commencement No. 20) (Scotland) Order 2015 brings uncommenced sections of the Environmental Protection Act 1990 into force, repealing specified legislation in Scotland. The Alkali etc. Works Regulation Act 1906 is repealed. Sections of further legislation including the Control of Pollution Act 1974 are revoked in relation to processes, statutory nuisances and hazardous substances.
