European Commission Regulation 1194/2012 implements EU Directive 2009/125/EC with regard to ecodesign requirements for directional lamps, LED lamps and related equipment. It will apply to special purpose products from 1 September 2013. Further products will be covered from either 1 September 2014 or 1 September 2016.
