Let’s Talk Environmental Management: Presenting the Online UKAS Certificate Database

29th October 2019

Watch this webinar session for further details on the proposed online database of certificates which have been issued by its Accredited Certification Bodies, and the opportunity for an interactive discussion with Jeff Ruddle, UKAS Strategic Development Director.

UKAS is in the initial stages of a project to develop an online database of certificates which have been issued by its Accredited Certification Bodies. The database will present information on each organisation holding accredited certification from a UKAS accredited certification body and as such will allow organisations, public bodies and government agencies that require and rely upon the confidence provided by accredited certification to easily verify the validity of a certificate directly from UKAS.

This database will provide additional value to the accredited certification community by:

  • Being used by regulators and manufacturers who require accredited certification throughout their supply chain.
  • Making it easier to identify fraudulent certificates.
  • Being linked to public bodies who are used to check company credentials (such as companies house).
  • Providing certification bodies and stakeholders with industry metrics and trends.
  • During the initial stages of this project UKAS would very much like to hear the thoughts of environmental management professionals.

Watch this webinar session for further details on the proposed database and the opportunity for an interactive discussion with Jeff Ruddle, UKAS Strategic Development Director.
