The European Commission has launched two new guidance documents to provide direction to EIA and SEA on integrating enhanced consideration of climate change and biodiversity effects into practice. This webinar will provide and overview of the key messages from both guides, with anticipated presentations from the Commission and Collingwood Environmental Planning (the UK consultancy that was a key part of the Group that produced the guide).

IEMA has played a key role in championing greater consideration of climate change in impact assessment. In relation to this guide we hosted the Commission's initial research into its production within a series of session's Josh Fothergill organised and Co-Chaired at an international conference on Climate Change & IA in Aalborg (Denmark) in October 2010.

The webinar will also include IEMA's monthly IA News update, with the latest on the EIA Directive revisions.
