Internal Environment Management within the Environment Agency: Our Successes in the past 9 years
This webinar looks back at the significant progress the Environment Agency has made to minimise the environmental impact from our work, strive to use best practice, and to manage our procurement and construction in a sustainable and responsible way.
As our current strategy has drawn to an end this year; this webinar looks back at the significant progress the Environment Agency has made to minimise the environmental impact from our work, strive to use best practice, and to manage our procurement and construction in a sustainable and responsible way. We explain the targets that we set ourselves for Carbon Dioxide emissions, water use, office waste, waste to landfill and mileage; and discuss the actual results we achieved. We use case studies of the various ways we have sought to minimise our environmental impact and also look at engagement campaigns, communication, sustainable procurement and compliance.
