An estimated 80% of the world’s population associates themselves with a faith. People of faith, whether they are individuals or are associated with a mosque, a church, a synagogue or a temple, have the power to influence those who share similar faith values. What is more, as we struggle to engage people effectively around climate change, faith provides the shared identity and values around which we can build compelling and effective narratives of personal and collective action. In this webinar, we’ll explore the role that the faith community plays in promoting sustainability, and the role language plays in communicating sustainability with people of faith.

The Solent: Recycling - Behaviour Change
Are you or your work team keen but confused about what to recycle or simply not engaged? Recycling has been with us for a long time, but recycling rates are not as high as they could be and contamination is common. The IEMA Solent event discussed how to improve your recycling rate, reduce contamination and looked ahead to changes coming in the next couple of years, including how to tackle drink container recycling through the deposit return scheme.
