Environment Agency activity on Sustainable Resource Management

4th December 2014

This webinar provided members with the opportunity to learn more about the Environment Agency's electronic waste transfer note system (EDoc) and about the quality protocols related to waste regulation.

End of Waste

Significant opportunities exist for businesses to turn wastes into useful products, reducing costs, increasing revenues and raising profits. Businesses are increasingly realising these opportunities but disputes do sometimes arise as to whether something is a waste or not. The Environment Agency has supported several initiatives around this complex area of legislation.

At this webinar Diana Bradford outlined what these are and how they can help you.

EDoc - electronic duty of care

If you manage waste you should know about EDoc.

EDoc - or electronic duty of care - is free to use and offers a simple and efficient online solution to managing non-hazardous waste transfers between organisations but with lots of added value such as no more paper waste transfer notes. Your information will be secure but easily accessible through search and reporting functions. This can help you transform your company’s data into valuable information to support your business needs.

Victoria Vaughan-Williams introduces you to the EDoc system and some of its key features.
