Enabling Innovation for Sustainable Manufacturing
The webinar explored some of the practical tools now being released as a result of the EPSRC’s Centre for Sustainable Industrial Manufacturing research. The centre is focused on ensuring manufacturing responds to global sustainability challenges, such as resource security, effectiveness, efficiency and cycling. The Centre is a multi-university initiative designed to drive substantial practical innovation from the factory floor to much broader interactions across whole sectors.
IEMA has worked with staff at the Centre, led from Cambridge University, since it began a few years ago, with the aim of ensuring a link between research and practice. This webinar provided members with an opportunity to learn about some of the practical tools generated through its research.
