Anti-Slavery Day: Modern slavery is a crime, do you know how your business can play a part in stopping it?
We held this webinar session on modern slavery, during which we provided top tips and best practices to guide professionals embarking on their journey to combat modern slavery in organisations. We took this opportunity to explore the recent recommendations sent by IEMA to the Home Office, following engagement with professionals working in supply chain transparency, on how it may enhance the transparency provisions of the UK Modern Slavery Act.
Anti-Slavery Day, 18th October, provides an opportunity to raise awareness of human trafficking and modern slavery, and encourage government, local authorities, companies, charities and individuals to do what they can to address this problem. It was created by the Anti-Slavery Day Act, a Private Members Bill introduced by Anthony Steen CBE, who is now Chair of the Human Trafficking Foundation.

The Solent: Recycling - Behaviour Change
