Planning - England
Enters into force - 15 April 2017
The Town and Country Planning (Permission in Principle) Order 2017 grants permission in principle for residential development of land allocated within a brownfield land register prepared by a local planning authority (LPA). Non-housing development may also be authorised under the brownfield land register. The register must include the information specified in Schedule 2 to the Town and Country Planning (Brownfield Land Register) Regulations 2017.
The LPA can set a date when the permission in principle will come into force and must keep a register of any permission granted in principle.
