The Town and Country Planning (Determination of Procedure) (Wales) Order 2014 brings sections of the Planning Act 2008 into force that allow and require the Welsh Ministers to determine procedures for proceedings concerning applications referred to them under the Town and Country Planning Act 1990, Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990 and Planning (Hazardous Substances) Act 1990. The Welsh Ministers are required to determine whether procedures will any one or a combination of local inquiries, hearings or written representations.
