The Town and Country Planning (Miscellaneous Amendments and Transitional Saving Provision) (Scotland) Order 2016 amends the Town and Country Planning (Use Classes) (Scotland) Order 1997 (Use Classes Order) and the Town and Country Planning (General Permitted Development) (Scotland) Order 1992 (Permitted Development Order). The 2016 order allows a change of use from a betting office or pay day loan shop to a shop or for financial, professional and other services. The 2016 order excludes changes to pay day loan shops and betting offices from changes permitted within any use class.
