The Town and Country Planning (General Permitted Development) (England) Order 2015 revokes the Town and Country Planning (General Permitted Development) Order 1995 in England and consolidates its provisions as amended.
A number of changes are also made to the general permitted development regime. Time-limited permitted development rights on larger extensions to domestic and non-domestic premises are made permanent. A new permitted development right is also added for the installation of solar photovoltaics with a capacity up to 1MW on the roofs of non-domestic buildings. Further changes of use are made general permitted development under the order.
