Wales - Planning
Enters into force - 7 November 2016
The Town and Country Planning (Environmental Impact Assessment) (Wales) (Amendment) Regulations 2016 amends the Town and Country Planning (Environmental Impact Assessment) (Wales) Regulations 2016. The 2016 Regulations extend the period in which a person can appeal to the Welsh Ministers for failure of a local authority to determine an amended planning application that requires an environmental impact assessment (EIA) in Wales. This period is amended to four weeks from the date the amendment is received or 20 weeks from the date the original application requiring an EIA was received, whichever is the longer.
