Planning - England
Enters into force - 16 April 2017
The Town and Country Planning (Brownfield Land Register) Regulations 2017 requires that local planning authorities (LPAs) keep, maintain and publish a public register of brownfield land suitable for residential development and where it qualifies for permission in principle. Brownfield land must meet certain requirements under these regulations for inclusion in the register. These regulations also set out the duties of the LPA in relation to the brownfield land register.
