The Plant Health (Amendment) Order (Northern Ireland) 2016 amends the Plant Health Order (Northern Ireland) 2006 to set emergency measures to prevent the introduction and spread of four species of Tuber flea beetle which affects potatoes. New requirements apply on the import and movement of susceptible plants. The 2016 order also extends measures to prevent the introduction of a bacteria (Xylella fastidiosa).
