The Prohibition of Keeping or Release of Live Fish (Specified Species) (Wales) Order 2015 revokes the prior 1998 order of the same name in Wales and certain related legislation. The order prohibits the keeping or release of specified live non-native fish or eggs without a licence. The prohibition does not apply where a permit is held for the release of alien or locally absent species in aquaculture or these activities are authorised by a notice under the Alien and Locally Absent Species in Aquaculture (England and Wales) Regulations 2011.
