The communities and local government department (DCLG) is consulting on implementing some of the provisions in the Neighbourhood Planning Bill.
The proposals are for regulations to cover: the detailed procedures for modifying neighbourhood plans and orders; the examination of a neighbourhood plan proposal if an area has been modified and a neighbourhood plan has already been made; and a requirement for local planning authorities to review their statements of community involvement at regularly. The Bill completed its first reading on 7 September.
The consultation closes on 19 October 2016.
