In memory of IEMA member Steve Marsden

6th April 2017

IEMA regrets to announce the passing of long-time member Steve Marsden.

After a brief but bold battle with cancer, he sadly passed away in March.

There are many members who will feel the loss of such a fierce advocate for our profession, close colleague and accomplished collaborator. He was a persistent, quirky individual and his charming sense of humour made him a joy to work with.

His contributions to the industry, including his dedication to the East of England steering group and involvement in the practitioner guide on climate change, will continue to educate and inform for many years. He worked for BT and more recently as an independent sustainability consultant.

Our thoughts are with his family, friends and colleagues at this difficult time.
