The Scottish government is consulting on proposals to improve the energy efficiency and condition standards in privately rented housing in Scotland.
The Holyrood government has designated energy efficiency as a national infrastructure priority, the cornerstone of which will be Scotland’s Energy Efficiency Programme (SEEP).
It said imposing minimum energy efficiency standards for housing is key to achieving its ambitions, including reducing climate change emissions and tackling fuel poverty.
The consultation closes on 30 June 2017.
