Case studies of combined heat and power.
The Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy has published three case studies of combined heat and power (CHP) schemes registered as part of the government’s Combined Heat and Power Quality Assurance programme.
They are: Bath Riverside, a 0.17 sq km site with installed CHP capacity of 230 kWe; Coventry energy-from-waste, a 7.7 MWe plant costing £5.3m; and Lister Hospital in Stevenage, which has a 1.4 MWe CHP plant.
