Following the Yorkshire & Humberside's circular economy events successful in 2023, this event focused on local examples of circular economy in practice. It had 3 different sector perspectives with York and North Yorkshire Local Enterprise Partnership, Mid Yorkshire Teaching NHS Trust and vehicle recycling company, Synetiq based in Doncaster.
Circular economy is a huge issue and tackling it can feel like an enormous impossible task. In this session the regional group shared with attendees some of the examples and experiences of local organisations to inspire, encourage and help environmental professionals. There was also an opportunity to speak directly to the panellists.
If you are trying to implement Circular Economy Strategies in your work place, are interested in how others have engaged their organisations and learn a bit about what not to do, then this session is for you.
