This webinar will explore the International Association for Public Participation (IAP2) principles and the benefits and challenges of applying them in UK practice.
This webinar will explore the International Association for Public Participation (IAP2) principles for involving stakeholders in the pre-application and assessment phase of project design and development, with licensed IAP2 trainer Tanya Burdett (Essential Planning) providing her perspective on the principles and the benefits of their application. The presentations will have a UK focus with Jo Murphy (Environment Agency) and Jenny Stafford (Temple Group) drawing from their own experiences of public participation related to multiple EIAs and providing their reflections on the benefits and challenges of applying the IAP2’s principles in practice.
