Any members who have been thinking about nominating a Graduate colleague that has made a real difference to your organisation should do before Friday 10th September to leave enough time to prepare the nomination!

The IEMA Graduate Award, sponsored by Land Securities, recognises the organisational achievements of practitioners that have graduated from an environmentally-related course within the past three years. It is awarded annually as part of IEMA's dedication to promoting the skills and value of young and recently-trained environmentally practitioners.

Being shortlisted or even winning the Award is a fantastic career opportunity for the individual Graduate and demonstrates an organisational interest and investment in emerging green skills.

The winner of the IEMA Graduate Award 2010 will receive a �2000 cash prize, free attendance to IEMA's Environment and Business: The challenge and the opportunity Conference in November and 1 year's free IEMA Graduate Membership.

One runner-up will receive a �1000 cash prize, a free place at IEMA's Environment and Business: The challenge and the opportunity Conference and 1 year's free Graduate Membership.

A profile and short article about the winner and their achievements will appear in Issue 108 of 'the environmentalist' and the December issue of IEMA Downloaded. A press release will also be submitted to IEMA's media contacts upon the naming of the winner which includes major newspapers, sector publications and websites.

How to Enter

Graduates cannot enter via their own application; all candidates must be nominated by their employer or by clients/customers of the organisation.
