The Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (IEMA) welcomes the development of a low carbon skills strategy. If the UK economy is to successfully make the transition to one which is low carbon and resource efficient, it will need people with the underpinning knowledge and skills to lead and implement change.
In formulating this response, IEMA has consulted with and received contributions from, members and approved training course providers.
Where we have appropriate experience, we have responded to the questions raised in the consultation paper.
