The response outlines its support for action to improve London’s air quality that is carefully planned, practicable and sustainable. The response also calls for:
- Action at national level to support the Mayor's LEZ initiative
- A clear target date for when London might expect to met the European Union objectives
- Greater clarity on the costs of implementing the London Low Emission Zone
- Evidence of greater consultation with businesses
