Simon is an environmental professional with more than 30 years' experience as a sustainability practitioner, consultant and trainer.
He is a committed student of sustainability and has enjoyed pioneering roles across the profession. He has been active in a diversity of fields, sectors and disciplines both in the UK and internationally. These include management systems, waste & resource management, international standardization, life cycle thinking, footprinting, sustainable procurement and environmental remediation, amongst others. He is currently immersed in biodiversity enhancement, ecotourism, eco-education and bee farming.
Simon has a passion for helping people develop their professional capabilities and for enhancing the standing of our profession. He is a former Chairman of the Institute and currently serves as the Institute's Chief Assessor for MIEMA/CEnv.
