I'm Matthew Hetherington, a Birmingham based national health and safety manager at Mace with an interest in sustainable management of construction sites.

I have been working with the IEMA Birmingham hub to create and promote environmentally based networking events both socially and digitally. Although I have my IEMA Associate certification, I am at the beginning of my development and understanding of environmental management and compliance but excited to meet and work with others in similar fields.

As a keen gardener (and new Dad) I am keen to learn how to live more sustainably by sourcing locally and growing more of the fruit and veg I consume.
