Goudarz Poursharif

Goudarz is a Chartered Engineer and a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. He leads the BEng (Hons.) Professional Engineering programmes at Aston University. He has designed three level 6 Engineering DA Programmes and co-designed Aston University's MSc in Sustainable Engineering and also leads Aston University’s Engineering for People Design Challenge in collaboration with the EWB-UK.
Goudarz completed his PhD in Smart Grids, funded by Northern PowerGrid and Low Carbon Network Fund (LCNF), at the University of Sheffield in 2018. Previously, he did his MSc Degrees in Water and Environmental Engineering and Corporate Environmental Management at the University of Surrey. His 1st degree was in Environmental and Natural Resources Engineering.
