Colette leads Arup’s United Kingdom, Middle East and Africa (UKMEA) environmental and social advisory services for international lenders.She is responsible for leading a team of environmental and social due diligence and monitoring professionals, growing the team’s skills, innovating services and building relationships with clients.In terms of project work, Colette leads environmental and social due diligence and monitoring and advisory work on behalf of Lenders, including major rail, highway, tunnel and bridge projects, plus renewable energy and hydropower projects in Africa, Eastern Europe and Central Asia. Colette has 20 years of experience in international environmental and social impact assessment (ESIA), environmental and social due diligence and monitoring in infrastructure, natural resources (oil and gas) and energy sectors.She lived and worked for many years in South East Asia, but also spent 4 years working in Australia on a major Liquified Natural Gas (LNG) and Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) project.
