BSc Business Management

The aim of the course is to equip students with knowledge, skills, and professional competency to work in a modern business environment. This is enabled through a holistic approach to developing knowledge and understanding required to managing a business exploring how various functions within business are integrated through technology, stakeholders and sustainable practices; evaluate the impact on society at large.

The overarching design of BSc Business Management course content and delivery is aimed at developing an appreciation for change and uncertainty that is inherent within the business world and prepare students for the continuing evolution of work place practices and career opportunities in various organisational settings and models. The degree offers an inspiring and engaging learning experience and provide a broader understanding of organisations and managerial frameworks while providing opportunities to reflect on knowledge, learning and practice while providing opportunities to develop research, employability, analytical and problem-solving skills, professional, sustainable and responsible behaviours and be transformed into a knowledgeable and responsible managers providing data-driven, evidence-based solutions for business. The course includes a consultancy unit where students are offered an opportunity to work with a live business and explore the complexities using systems tools. On completing the course students are able to demonstrate an ability to integrate theory and practice that leads to positive impact through responsible management practice.
