What is the Award?

The IEMA Graduate Award, sponsored by Land Securities, recognises the organisational achievements of Graduate practitioners. It is awarded annually as part of IEMA's dedication to promoting the skills and value of young and recently-trained environmentally practitioners.

What kind of Graduates are eligible?

Any Graduates that have completed an environmentally-related course within the past three years are eligible for entry. Proof of graduation and course details are required within the entry materials.

Is there an age limit?

No, this award is open to environmental Graduates of any age. As having an environmentally-related degree is a pre-requisite of entry we expect that typical entrants will be over 21 years of age however this is not a rule and there is no upper age limit.

Why should a Graduate aim to win this award?

Being shortlisted or even winning the Award is a fantastic career opportunity for the individual Graduate as their work will be profiled in all press and publicity for the award.

Why should a manager or client take the time to nominate a Graduate for this award?

Nominating a Graduate for this coveted Award demonstrates an organisational interest and investment in emerging green skills, something that business and the Coalition Government are currently very focused upon.
