The Committee are seeking feedback on their detailed work plan, which outlines how they intend to fulfil their duties under the Climate Change Bill. The work plan is divided into six sections; setting the 2050 target, setting the 2020 carbon dioxide budget and the trajectory from now to 2020, additional considerations (fuel poverty, fiscal implications, security of supply, the regions and ancillary environmental effects), international aviation and shipping, other greenhouse gases, and an explanation of the blocks of analysis around which the secretariat is organised and how they map to the issues (sometimes uniquely, sometimes on a cross-cutting basis).
Responses to the consultation are requested by 20th June 2008 and may be sent to [email protected].
