IEMA membership reaches 8,000

We are delighted to report that the Institute's total membership reached 8,000 in September 2003. This is a doubling of member numbers in the four years since the Institute was formed from the amalgamation of the Institute of Environmental Assessment, the Institute of Environmental Management and the Environmental Auditors Registration Association. To mark this event we have published, in the October issue of 'the environmentalist', the names of all the 125 candidates who were successful in the June Open Book assessment for Associate Membership.
