Steph Rooke

Co-Chair

I am a passionate Environment and Sustainability professional with over fourteen years’ experience in environmental management including working within the waste and water industry sectors.
I currently work as an Environmental Scientist for Turnbull and my role involves championing environmental leadership at Europe’s largest construction site. I am currently leading on the creation of the business sustainability strategy aligned to the UN SDGs.
I am a practitioner member of IEMA, Co-Chair for IEMA South West and a Chartered Waste Manager with CIWM and member of the Circular Economy Club. I studied Environmental Consultancy (MSc) and Environmental Science (BSc Hons) at Plymouth University. I especially loved the university field trip to the Rainforest in Malaysia studying trapdoor spiders!
My hobbies and interests include going for walks, getting outdoors to connect with nature, gardening including growing my own fruit and vegetables, organising beach cleans, creating environmental artwork inspired by artist John Dahlsen and much more!
