My name is Matthew Thomas and I have fifteen years of experience in environmental risk management.
I started my career working with the Royal Air Force Land Quality Assessment Team (RAF INFRA 4 LQAT) which involved assessment of land quality across the Royal Air Force estate. I then moved on to work with a multinational engineering consultancy undertaking contaminated land assessment and remediation at fuel storage and distribution sites across the UK.
I currently work for a specialist environmental consultancy delivering environmental risk management services to the hazardous goods transport industry. My role involves assisting clients with the management of their environmental risks, including the management of environmental incidents and spillages of dangerous goods, which occur during road transport operations.
