I am currently a Senior Lecturer and Environmental Consultant at the University of Sunderland.

I have 33 years experience in environmental management working with organisations both in UK and abroad and teaching at both postgraduate and undergraduate levels. My main activities have been environmental auditing, management systems, reporting, impact assessments and training at all levels. My particular interests lie with sustainability and life-cycle assessments.

I am an IEMA Registered Auditor, a member of the North East Steering Group and IEMA Council as well as IEMA assessor for PIEMA with Charburn.
