Dare Ilori knew that to be a successful sustainability professional, technical skills would not be enough. After gaining a Masters degree in Waste and Environmental Management, he acquired a Masters of Business Administration degree to open up his knowledge on how sustainability and business fits together. He attended courses to developed his social style and leadership skills as well as sustainability focused workshops including executive sustainability leadership courses in Cambridge and Harvard.

He is very passionate about sustainability and does not mince words when it comes to challenging bandwagon sustainability trend that moves the issue along as opposed to addressing the issue holistically.

He is a Fellow of IEMA and a chartered member of the Energy Institute UK.

He is married with a son, his hobbies are vacation, movies and table tennis.
