Finance Officer
I began my career qualifying as a Dental Surgery Nurse at Birmingham dental hospital, then I worked as a member of cabin crew for a major airline.
I have worked in the finance sector for over 25 years, I am a member of The Association of Accounting Technicians and in 2015 gained the professional qualification AATQB and was shortlisted for AATQB of the year. I joined IEMA at the end of November 2020 as Finance Officer my role is exciting and varied, dealing with the banking and company finances, I interact and support the team at IEMA on finance matters, assist our members when required on financial queries.
In my spare time I volunteer for Guide Dogs for the Blind and Riding for the disabled. I am passionate about wildlife and animal welfare, I enjoy horse riding, walking our Labrador, taking care of our rescue ponies and chickens, and spending time with my family.
