Attendees learned about initiatives where marine conservation is actively being implemented and how they can get involved both as through business investment and as an individual citizen scientist or volunteer. SMEEF showed how they link industry funding with key conservation projects. The Marine Conservation Society showed how as a volunteer or citizen scientist, they can have a voice in parliament in support of marine conservation.
