BSc (Hons) Environmental Management with Foundation Year (UWE)

The programme will appeal to you if you're passionate about the environment and want to make a difference in the world. You'll study the core environmental challenges affecting the world today, such as the impacts arising from climate change, rapid urbanisation and insecurities surrounding water, waste management and energy.

Explore the often-competing demands placed on global environments and trace the growth of environmentalism and green politics. Learn about wide-ranging interventions, including policy and legislation, including those designed to make business and development activity more sustainable. Unpick the science that lies behind key environmental challenges, and identify the stake holders, tools and techniques needed for brokering and delivering positive, lasting change.

Studying this in Bristol has particular appeal, with the city being the Green Capital in 2015 and highly regarded for its focus on environmental and sustainability issues. Drawing on our strong links with employers, you'll benefit from placements, live project briefs, site visits and guest lectures throughout.
