PwC unveils science-based goal
Professional services firm PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) has announced its aim to achieve carbon neutrality across its global operations by 2030 using a science-based target.
Also known as one of the UK's 'big four' accounting firms, PwC said it would focus on sustained reductions in travel and increased use of zero-carbon energy while helping its international clients to cut their emissions too.
“A net-zero world is within reach,“ said Bob Moritz, global chairman of the PwC network. “We are determined to play our part in the way we support our clients to create a sustainable world for future generations.“
