The Landfill (Maximum Landfill Amount) Regulations 2011 specify the maximum amount (by weight) of biodegradable municipal waste allowed to be sent each year to landfills, for the whole of the UK alongside separate limits for England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
