The Hinkley Point Harbour Empowerment Order 2012 enables the firm NNB Generation to carry out works in Bridgwater Bay and on adjacent land to facilitate the construction of a nuclear power station at Hinkley Point.

The Hinkley Point (Temporary Jetty) (Land Acquisition) Order 2012 enables NNB Generation to acquire land and rights over land adjacent to Bridgwater Bay to aid the same project.
