The Greenhouse Gas Emissions Trading Scheme Regulations 2012 implement EU Directive 2003/87/EC on establishing a scheme for GHG emission allowance trading, particularly amendments made to 2003/87/EC by Directive 2009/29/EC which extended the scheme.
